08/19/2006: Dynod Quicksilver @ RevExtreme in Brandon. 192.59 HP / 173.41 lbs/tq. These numbers are probably more realistic than the numbers we saw the the dyno in Clearwater.
08/06/2006: Installed the JCW rear spoiler that Ana gave me for my birthday, it looks really sharp and you can feel some additional downforce :) Miles Motored: 18,391!
08/02/2006: Installed Alta Cold Air Intake Box Top. Supposed to keep cold air going in the engine, we'll see how that goes! Miles Motored: 18,121!
M 07/30/2006: Did the full tune up after yesterdays 45 lap beating on Quicksilver. Rotated the tires, changed the oil, flushed the brake fluid and installed new spark plugs. Although the plugs did not appear to be worn, replacing them really brought the throttle response back up. Miles Motored: 18,007!
07/29/2006: Mini Road Race at Ocala Grand Prix. We finished 19th and 24th out of 26. This was a great learning experience for both Ana and I. Needless to say I am done with power output, next year is going to be budgeting for race tires and a limited slip differential. The first 6 (except for Brian who was in the S2K) drivers were regular race participants, the rest of us were novices. Miles Motored: 17,949.
07/13/2006: Johnny from Johnny's Body shop in Winter Haven painted my stock hood scoop gloss black, and I installed the CheckMate stripes in Black. I also found a black widow in the garage. Mile Motored: 17, 647!
07/07/2006: Pat Wallis installed a Shrick Race cam and an Alta Lightweight Crank Pulley. Amazing! the car pulls like mad from 3500 and up!. Miles Motored: 16,696!

06/27/2006: Installed Weds Sport TC005's to replace the Flik Wasps I was running previously. Saves about 10 pounds a wheel from the 18's, save 19lbs over the stock setup. Click the image for more pictures.
06/24/2006: Installed JCW 380cc injectors, Megan Racing Header. Updated MTH to reflect the changes. WHOA! She is much louder now and pulls like a demon on the bottom end. Shrick Race Cam, Alta lightweight crank pulley to be installed 6/30. Miles Motored: 14, 905!
06/16/2006: Installed the Goodrich S/S Brake Lines, what a difference in pedal feel. I also flushed the brake fluid and replaced it with ATE Super Blue. Miles Motored: 14,800!
06/12/2006: Its been a while since my last update, my how things have come along. Just in time for summer, I added the PIAA silicone wipers, and during the Tropical Storm, they worked great!
6/10/2006: Dyno Day! Quicksilver dyno'd at 187HP and 165lbs/ft tq. Click the picture to see the graphs.
