The Story of Quicksilver

9/24/05 We test drive a similarly equipped 2005 MINI Cooper S at Ferman Motorcars.

10/4/05 We decided to purchase a Pure Silver Cooper S. Ferman says they sold the one we wanted, and didn't expect any more like it.

10/4/05 Called Downtown MINI and spoke with Mike Priest. He said he would check the ships and see what was coming in. 

10/5/05 Mike at Downtown MINI called back and said their was an exact match to what we wanted getting ready to be shipped. Put the deposit down on Quicksilver.

10/8/05 Met Mike at Downtown MINI and signed all of the paperwork. Obtained the VIN number so I could track the MINI on the MINI USA owners lounge. Our MINI's build date was 9/24/05, a week 40 production model.

10/6/05 Quicksilver loaded on the vessel "Courage" at 14:18PM in Southampton, England.

10/20/05 After 14 days at sea, Quicksilver was unloaded from the Courage at 3PM in Charleston, SC.

10/21/05 Quicksilver now shows up at the Vehicle Processing Center.

10/25/05 Mike from Downtown Mini called to say our MINI was ready.

10/29/05 Picked up QuickSilver at 11:01AM from Downtown Mini.

The rest, as they say is history!
